Journal Prompt Series - Quit ‘Shoulding’ on yourself
When I devote my attention to the present moment, expectations and judgments soften. Every time I release a "should", I allow life to more fully and authentically express itself through me. As I see things with more clarity, stillness, and acceptance, I become free to appreciate the journey even while I don't understand it; I get to enjoy the miracle of just being alive, while I'm living.

How often do you "should" on yourself? How does it make you feel? "Shoulding" leads to disappointments. Try becoming more conscious about the words you use towards yourself and those around you. Let go of the expectations of what should have happened and allow what is to be. Release the ‘shoulds’ and live fully while you are alive.
